"Bakmaha Asiriya Narammala 2023" was held on 22.04.2023 at the UB Vijaycon Stadium, Narammala, with the participation of thousands of people in a grand manner. Running through the village, bicycle races, folk songs, wrestling, tug-of-war, climbing the slippery tree, sack race, breaking kanamutti, selection of Avurudu Kumari and many folk games were held on that day. All the sponsoring activities of Bakmaha festival including prize giving to the winners were carried out by the Narammala Trade Association and the Trade Community. The event was Organized by the officials of the Divisional Secretary's office and led by the village officials, the Narammala Police, Water Supply Board, Pradesiya Saba, Agricultural Service Centers, Hospital, Medical Officer of Health Office and all the government institutions of the area and whom were participated in this Bakmaha festival.
