The Sasana Pranama Abhinandana Tribute Ceremony was held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Narammala Town Hall. The event primarily aimed to honor Most Venerable Pannala Sri Sumedhabhidhana Nayaka Thero—Chairman of the Narammala Regional Sasana Arakshaka Mandalaya, Chief Incumbent of the Wewalwala Sri Sonuttararamaya, Sasana Keerthi Sri Medhankara, and Chief Sanghanayaka of Pahala Dolos Pattuwa—on his appointment to the Upadhyaya position. Additionally, tribute was paid to six venerable monks from temples in the Narammala Division who have completed half a century of Upasampada (higher ordination) while serving the nation and the Sasana, as well as 95 honorable monks and teacher-parents who have rendered selfless service in Sunday school education for over 20 years.The Sasana Pranama Abhinandana Tribute Ceremony was held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Narammala Town Hall. A distinguished gathering of dignitaries and invited guests attended the ceremony, including Hon. Gamagedara Dissanayake, Deputy Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs; Hon. Namal Karunaratne, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock; Hon. Tissa Warnasuriya, Governor of the North Western Province; and Hon. Asoka Gunasena, Member of Parliament for the Kurunegala District. The event was also graced by the Chairman of the Narammala Pradeshiya Sabha, the District Secretary of Kurunegala, the Commissioner of Buddhist Affairs (Kurunegala Regional Office), the Divisional Secretary of Narammala, the Officer in Charge of the Narammala Police Station, and the President of the Narammala Trade Association.

Under the National Programme for the Eradication of Toxic Drugs, the regional committee for drug prevention was established on May 15, 2026, at the Narammala Community Hall premises, with the primary objective of eliminating illicit drugs at the local level. The event was held under the leadership and guidance of local religious leaders, Member of Parliament for the Kurunegala District Hon. Ashoka Gunasena and other political representatives, Divisional Secretary Mr. M.R.M. Imran along with the heads of local government institutions, chairpersons of rural drug prevention committees, and various public officials.

In commemoration of the 77th National Independence Day and with blessings for all beings worldwide, the Narammala Divisional Secretariat organized an all-night Pirith chanting on February 3rd and 4th, followed by a Sanghika Dana (almsgiving) for the Maha Sangha on the morning of the following day at the office premises.
This program, conducted under the guidance of Narammala Divisional Secretary Mr. M.R.M. Imran, was attended by office staff, retired government officials, and the business community.
